Orlik De Luxe L147 Bulldog Estate Pipe with Replacement Stem

Made in England and at roughly a group 1 size, this lightweight and smooth finished Orlik de Luxe bulldog estate pipe has been re-stemmed at some point in its history.  We don't know who did the work but the results are quite nice as this new stem is well drilled, fit flush, and offers the kind of smooth draw that results in a dry and flavorful smoke.  There is some wear at the front of the rim where it appears that a buffing wheel was used aggressively to remove some darkening and possible slight char.  Otherwise, this English straight and classic diamond shank rhodesian is in outstanding condition and makes a fine choice for enjoying fine cuts and straight Virginias.
