Paneled with a smooth shield on both sides of the bowl, this Hilson Bolero estate pipe from Belgium has a saddled stem and, combined with a lightweight stummel, practically disappears when clenched given the bent profile and saddle stem.  The deep chamber is conical so the measurement of width at the top quickly narrows for a Virginia friendly smoker.  In excellent condition with just a whisper of rim darkening toward the back of the bowl, this well-drilled smoker will even pass a cleaner.
