It shouldn't be a surprise that this three quarter century old Stanwell Hand Made Selected Grain billiard estate pipe shows signs of wear as it has been already been enjoyed for a lifetime of generational smoking. There is some modest darkening around the rim and plenty of handling marks while the stem has been buffed many times making the bite thin, though well within necessary thickness limitations. Lightweight and beautifully grained, this older Danish handmade can go another several lifetimes with just a modicum of care and a superbly drilled draft and open draw.
