Radice Clear Bent Freehand Billiard with Bamboo and Plateau Estate Pipe

Bent and beautiful, this Radice Clear is an excellent specimen of natural straight grain and the minimal finish that makes this densely decorated briar look so good.  Fitted with a fat single knuckle of bamboo into the acrylic stem, this big bowled smoker will absolutely pass a cleaner as the airway has been ramped without being too large.  In great shape, though a sodium silicate bowl coat has been added to ensure that the charring at the bottom of the chamber doesn't allow the front wall to get any thinner.  There is also some significant inner rim darkening, but given the darkened treatment of the bamboo, it seems to fit and belong even if worsening over the many decades this smoker can still contribute as a marvelous vessel for flavorful smoking.
