Jesek Pipes by Martin Paljesek Curvy Dublin Surfer with Boxwood and Brindle

Details
While the finished pipe might strike a chord of whimsy, this deliberately curvy surfer from Martin is outrageously well executed. A drooping rim, topped with plateau, flows over a stummel of high-contrast smooth finished straight grain. Two panels make up the bottom of the shank, set at planes just different enough to capture a marvelous curved seam from the edge of the heel under the bowl all the way to the sculpted trim of boxwood. A sculpted and flared saddle shows off an additional color element in the curved ebonite stem of brown, black, and gray brindle. Most importantly, this well made briar boasts an engineered draft that is just as impressive as its lines, proportions, and curves making this handmade a prize with few equals.
