Georg Jensen Special Bent Apple Estate Pipe

Although the stummel is sturdy and thick, this Special bent apple estate pipe from Danish maker, Georg Jensen, has a minimal saddle and thin bite working to keep the weight of this clencher to a minimum.  There is some significant darkening around the rim but this meaty and condensed smoker, with a terrifically dense cross-grain framing end grain birdseye on both sides of the bowl, will be a pleasure to hold, or clench, from the beginning to the end of the satisfying session.  The chamber is wide at the top and conical, though it never gets tight enough to recommend a Virginia blend or sweeter aromatic.
