At exactly three inches in oval shank length, this Dunhill Root Briar canadian estate pipe totals out at well over six and a half inches.  The smooth finish of their Root Briar provides a clear picture of the briar canvas that reveals the dense cross-grain and resulting birdseye packed tightly together.  There is some darkening across the thick walled rim that perches over a wide chamber with enough depth to keep any tongue friendly favorite simmering for hours at a time.  In outstanding condition, this group 6 sized smoker is a comfortable clencher, though will likely wear out the jaw after a whole bowl.
