Dunhill 75th Anniversary Duke Street 1 (1985 Make) Bent with Silver and Military Mount UNSMOKED Estate PipeItem # MDE194812
In pristine and completely UNSMOKED condition, this gorgeous Dunhill estate pipe is an homage from their very early days when the factory on Duke Street was still producing horse drawn carriages. The following is from the included certificate:
This Anniversary Pipe is a reproduction of Dunhill pipes made in 1910. The bent is identical to the original shape number 1 which is adorned with a silver army mount. The mouthpiece is tapered and does not have 'fishtail' characteristic of the modern pipe. The pipe is finished in the polished bruyere and the bowl carries the Dunhill stamp style of 1910. No inner condensation tube is fitted as these were not introduced before 1911. The pipe does not bear the famous 'white spot' which was not a feature on all Dunhill pipes until 1915.
Note that this pipe comes with its original box, sleeve, and limited edition certificate of production no. 552 of 750.
