Butz-Choquin Supermate 1291 Pear Estate Pipe

Marvelously lightweight and ideally suited for the sweet and grassy flavors of a good virginia, this French-made Butz-Choquin Supermate estate pipe is indeed a companionable and well named briar.  Finished smooth with a minimal amount of meat, the tall and conically shaped chamber holds a draft hole superbly placed at the bottom and draws equally well.  There is some significant rim darkening and the stem's logo is well worn, but this slightly bent clencher is in excellent smoking condition.
