Ben Wade Matt Original Hand Made Bent Freehand with Plateau Estate Pipe

In outstanding condition, this Danish-made Ben Wade Matt Original freehand estate pipe has a dark and rich smooth finish with a natural contrast of straight grain.  There is some very minor inner rim darkening toward the back of the half plateaued rim, but this spectacular specimen of briar is still quite the impressive smoker.  The chamber itself tapers to a single point at the bottom of the steeply conical chamber where the draft hole will make soaking all the flavor from every morsel of packed tobacco an easy, if lengthy and enjoyable, process of flavorful puffing.
