We find it somewhat ironic that this Savoy bent dublin estate pipe carries the name stamping of Gold, but is in fact capped at the shank with silver. Regardless of the lack of parallel, this finely shaped and broad, rounded rimmed bent is a beauty worth some sort of valued namesake. The stem isn't a military mount, but a standard push/pull and the wide chamber is only slightly tapered. There are some minor handling marks about the stummel of this well grained smooth and there is some very minor inner rim darkening, but aside from a few modest fills this Italian-made and lightweight clencher is in excellent condition with a very compelling draw.
