Gorgeously grained in a contrast smooth finish, this Comoy's Diplomat has a solid, one piece stem of acrylic that emulates the look of a military mount. The logo is done in the three piece style and the design with the saddle pinch shank is still just as lovely. There are some significant handling marks that could not be removed while being restored where the pipe was seemingly dropped onto concrete, though they are individually minor and it appears as if the tenon was broken and then repaired with a small steel tube inside, well done and secure for many more generations to enjoy. Otherwise this clean rimmed and smooth drawing English briar is in outstanding condition.
