Details
A rustic finish with a smooth rim and adorned with a rounded band of nickel, this straight and tapered Montmartre billiard estate pipe from French maker, Butz-Choquin has almost no forward cant to the thick walled bowl. There is some wear around the rim and some inner rim darkening, but the cylindrical chamber is in great shape and is drilled with a draft hole all the way at the very bottom of the large capacity vessel. Some may find this sturdy briar on the heavy side of comfortable clenching but it draws very well and is recommended for broad cuts and strong English blends, though it draws so smooth anything will do well here.
