A tall bowl and a long, oval shank give this BBB Silver Grain billiard estate pipe a little extra oomph than its more traditional cousins. The smooth finish is a display of high-contrasting cross-grain and there don't appear to be any flaws or fills anywhere. There is some darkening across the rim and the thick walls of the bowl insulate a narrow, if very deep chamber, perfect for Virginias and shag cuts, especially for sessions that last quite a long time. Otherwise this well drilled and lightweight clencher from England is in excellent condition.
