Smooth and cross grained with a dense gathering of birdseye on both profiles, this BBB Special Make estate pipe was made for the celebration of Christmas in 1982, making this bent briar just shy of it's 40th birthday. In outstanding condition, though the smooth rim has been somewhat worn and has a lighter finish, this Danish inspired shape has an all English provenance, and a slightly conical chamber suitable for a dark fired burley, or even a smoky English blend.
