Details
Likely made in the 1970s, this Ye Olde Wood estate pipe qualifies as a transition piece. The smooth finish provides an excellent canvas for the stunning display of grain, dense and perfectly painted in a natural contrast by mother nature. Very thick in the walls, this oval shanked English billiard has a mighty chasm of a chamber to match. Unfortunately when this gloriously birdseyed beauty came into our care the stem had already been over buffed at the bit, leaving a very thin bite point, which while most will claim joy for the comfortable clench, we believe this is precariously close to failure should a smoker chomp down too hard. It is just too pretty not to keep out in the wild for enjoyment. Note that we will send a long a soft rubber bit with the pipe.
