Butz-Choquin Bistro 1279 Billiard Estate Pipe

Made in France with a tall bowl and accompanying deep chamber, this Butz-Choquin billiard estate pipe has a steeply tapered stem for a comfortably thin bite.  Light enough to clench with ease this French-made briar does have some darkening to the finish, especially around the bevel of the inner rim, but holds a narrow chamber with thick walls perfect for the enjoyment of virginia based blends.  While the draw is smooth, it isn't as open as the modern drilling of handmades today so this smoker will benefit from a looser pack and long, slow draws of sweet, dry and satisfying smoke.
