At Blue Room Briars it's a constant balancing act, trying to restore the pipe to it's original glory and providing the customer with a great product at a good value. This wonderfully shaped Charatan Billiard estate pipe has been well loved. So much so, the original stem has a slight crack on the top. We decided to make a new stem for this pipe, being as faithful as we could to the original, even going so far as to cut our own double comfort bit. You get both stems with the pipe. Our version is a touch longer, hence the two sets of measurements below, but the additional stem should let you cherish the original design and not worry about adding some tooth marks of you own on the replacement. There is some rim darkening and we added a bowl coat to ensure maximum longevity. Executive is a singularly unique shape for the famous English brand.  Unfortunately the shank was broken at some point and a professional repair was done by inserting a metal tube and gluing the two parts of the stummel back together.  During its restoration in our workshop, the innertube was removed and the whole draft redrilled for a permanent fix with modern epoxy that will not only allow the pipe to smoke better, but ensure many generations more can enjoy this handmade briar.  The tall chamber narrows to a draft hole well placed all the way at the bottom and now there is enough volume of air to smoke the entire capacity without suffering a headache.  There is some darkening around the rim's plateau, but this English sitter is still in outstanding
