Strawberry wood is an excellent medium for smoking with a high heat transition much like briar. Usually it is chosen by carvers for its interesting grain patterns which are notoriously more random and chaotic than briar, but in this case, Yorgos managed to get a tightly packed section of consistent growth rings that wrap around the entire stummel. Well tapered and exceptionally proportioned, this straight tomato looks like its going 90 mph and is a sturdy sitter (when at rest, we didn't test the 90 mph thing). Smooth in the draw and light enough to keep clenched all day long, this companionable blonde of mighty prowess is especially suited to smaller cuts and straight virginias.
