Details
Remarkably well executed, this paneled smoker from Czech Republic pipemaker, Marek Cikl, is more than just a mere instrument of smoking. It represents a craftsmanship that spans a career of careful refinement in the creation of unique and outstanding handmades. Carved with eight individual and astonishingly symmetric panels that travel all the way from the rim, down the plump and visual hefty bowl, through the transition into a diamond shank, and continue past the ivorite trim into the tapered stem. The ebonite stem fits into the ivorite ferrule with the help of a delrin tenon and additional delrin sleeve to ensure a snug and maintenance free fit for generations of enjoyment. The deep chamber is mostly cylindrical with a conical bottom where the draft is perfectly placed dead center. An excellent choice for any ribbon cut blend, this thick walled smoker will always make a friendly companion and proves that true value lies not in novelty, but in mastery.
