Handmade from a burl of briar as opposed to the traditional gourd, this Calabah Calabash from Johny Pipes is a well constructed smoker, complete with a removable briar rim secured by an inserted delrin gasket and a chamber lined with briar. A wide band of brass adorns the acrylic saddle stem and an additional delrin sleeve secures the integral tenon in the mortise. We particularly like the underbent profile, making this impressive looking briar a good clencher as well. Smooth in the draw, this hollow stummel smoker is guarantee for a sweet, dry smoke without any need for a filter of any kind.
