Fascinated and perhaps obsessed with calabash and their reverse designs, these Johny Pipes from Iranian pipe maker, Meysam Jahani are marvelous celebrations of the latter. Each has a reservoir for the smoke in the wide short shank and a sizeable bowl for enjoying dry, sweet, and flavorful smoke no matter the pace or what tobacco type is used and makes for a comfortable clencher. Fitted with an insert of briar in the acrylic stem and set with a delrin grommet to secure the tenon in a snug fit that will never wear out, each of these briars is handmade, polished smooth to showcase its grain, and will produce a perfect smoke every time. This Reverse Calabash is shaped into a stout tomato and features a nicely burnished edge around the outer shoulder of the rim.
