Joe Hinkle Pipe Sandblast Prince with Buffalo Horn Ferrule and Brindle

This over the top spectacle of classic prince shaping, from Joe Hinkle, is another breathtaking example of how one shape can be tweaked just enough to present an entirely different theme.  Sandblasted and finished in dark auburn and plum hues, this long brindle stemmed beauty has a ferrule of buffalo horn.  Seamingly black, upon closer inspections the subtle white striations can be seen in the horn, which works well sandwiched between the brindle stem and another slim insert of brindle on the shank.  Meticulous in his details, this example of Joe's work features an old school taper, without the fishtail.
