Handmade in Denmark, this Ben Wade Danish Pride sitter freehand estate pipe has a massive stummel that houses a truly capacious and conical chamber. There was some moderate charring towards the bottom so a sodium silicate bowl coat has been added to ensure there are no burn out issues in its smoking future. Topped with plateau from the outer bark of the burl, this well grained specimen of smoking pleasure has two panels of smooth to highlight the straight grain on either side of the bowl and the rest is resplendent in growth rings revealed in the blast finish. There is some darkening on the rim and the stem's crown logo is well worn, but this large sitter is still in outstanding condition with a marvelously open and smooth draw to support such a big chamber.
